The WhatsApp Beta app is now available for download for Windows 10 or higher versions like Windows 11 users.

Steps to follow for installing WhatsApp on Windows 8.1 or its higher version like Windows 10 and Windows 11

Step 1. Open your browser, search and visit the WhatsApp page to download WhatsApp “WhatsAppSetup.exe” for installing for PC or Windows. After navigating to the download page to download the .exe file. The installation process of WhatsApp on windows 7, windows 8, or windows 10 is the same.

Step 2. After the download is complete, you have to open "WhatsApp.exe" as "Run as administrator" to install WhatsApp on your computer.

Step 4. At the time of your first installation, the application will ask if you would like to add WhatsApp to your Applications folder and your desktop space.

Step 5. When the installation is complete, launch WhatsApp on your computer the instruction below and scan the QR code to log in.

WhatsApp Desktop App can be used on up to four devices at the same time. But one phone has to be connected to your WhatsApp account at one time. And after 14 days of not using your phone, your linked devices will become disconnected automatically.

Though WhatsApp Beta is still in the developing phase you can do a lot by using the WhatsApp desktop app. You can use emojis and gifs in chats, attach video and audio files, documents, and pictures same as WhatsApp on Android App.
