The New Zuari bridge construction is being completed by Dilip buildcon Limited (DBL). Dilip buildcon limited Bhopal is one of the leading service infrastructure companies with the skills to build roads and bridges. The company is also focused on building national highways and highways.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari had laid the foundation stone for the Rs 2,700 crore cable-stayed New Zuari river bridge. There is an old Zuari River Bridge, but the structure of the old existing bridge has considered unfit to carry loads of heavy vehicles.

The New Zuari River bridge project is an ongoing project of Dilip Buildcon Limited Bhopal. The New Zuari cable-stayed bridge is a high-demand project because the existing old bridge in the Zuari River which is connecting Panjim and Margao is not able to bear the heavy vehicle movements due to its poor condition.
There is tremendous traffic in the existing two-lane bridge over the Zuari river in Goa, and as well as the bad conditions entailed the construction of an additional 8-lane bridge (dual 4 lane carriageway).

The new cable-stayed bridge will ensure better vehicular traffic in the region including that of heavy vehicles. This bridge is being constructed by Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) of India and Ukrainian company Mostobudivelnyi Zahin Limited in a joint venture.

Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) will provide the maintenance of this new bridge for a period of eight years.

Infinite Civil Solutions Pvt. Ltd India (ICS) has provided the design of this project.

DBL is named after Mr. Dilip Suryavanshi who is known to be Dilip buildcon limited owner.

The length of the Zuari River cable-stayed Bridge is 640 m. It will be the second-longest and widest cable-stayed bridge in India.

This bridge has eight lanes - four on the Left-hand side (LHS) and the other four lanes on the Right-hand side (RHS). The deck of this bridge is consist of both steel structure and concrete. The bridge deck is being fabricated at the workshop of Dilip Buildcon Limited at the site.
